Gülen Completes Check-up
Three months after having stents implanted in his heart vessels to prevent congestion, Fethullah Gülen went in for a stress test on Tuesday so that doctors could assess his recovery.
Doctors determined after the check-up that the blood flow to the heart muscle had improved considerably after the stent implant. However, doctors advised Gülen that he needed to better regulate his blood sugar levels. Therefore a strict regimen of diet and exercise was prescribed.
Doctors also requested regular check-ups and additional lab tests. Gülen was also told to stay away from stress and have fewer visitors.
