How does Fethullah Gülen affect the consciousness of people about the state and democracy?
Fethullah Gülen calls for democratization, freedom, equity, justice, and human rights and the rule of law as the main basis for the regulation of the state–society relationship. This call has symbolically confronted the privileged role and vested interests of the protectionist elite in Turkey.
